Catalog description

This course is intended to provide students with comprehensive understanding of the financial management principles used in sport organizations. Focus will be placed on financial budgeting and analysis as well as sources of revenue for sport organizations. Along with conventional income sources such as tax support, municipal and corporate bonds, ticket sales, concessions and fundraising, the students will receive in-depth exposure to more recent innovations related to licensing sport products, and corporate sponsorships Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
