Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the graduate student with a foundation to understand the major community services required by individuals with various disabilities. This course, utilizes the life cycle approach and tracks persons with exceptionalities as they begin the transition from secondary education to the world of work, adulthood, and their elderly years. The focus is on recent social change issues that have dramatically altered the lives of this population. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
