Clinical Social Work and the DSM. This course will provide students with an introduction to the specialized practice of clinical social work. Emphasis on assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness will prepare students to enter clinical practice. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Social Work or Social Work-Advanced Standing. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students in a Master of Social Work degree.
