Social Policy Issues

Catalog description

This course examines the problems and issues associated with social policy, including the politics of social welfare policy. Students will explore the role of policy in social work practice, analyze social problems through the lens of policy, and engage in policy practice to advocate for social justice. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a major in Social Work.
