Personnel Selection and Supervision

Catalog description

This course focuses on the personnel functions and responsibilities of school leaders. Students will develop skills in forecasting personnel needs; recruiting, selecting, orienting, assigning, developing, compensating and evaluating personnel. Attention is given to major federal and state legislation, executive orders and court decisions that provide direction in the development of human resource programs that address the rights of diverse groups within the work force. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
