This course gives upper elementary, middle school, and junior high teachers experience using hands-on activities that require only inexpensive and readily available materials. Children''s ideas about forces, fluids, and energy are studied with emphasis on research-based strategies for changing children''s naive ideas. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
