Social and Emotional Development Across the Lifespan

Catalog description

This course uses a lifespan theoretical perspective to examine social and emotional influences on social relationships (e.g., parent-child, sibling, grandparent-grandchild, romantic) with an emphasis on the socio-historical context and the influence of intersecting identity factors (e.g., age and race). Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Psychology, Psychology, Psychology-Developmental or Psychology-Neuroscience.
