An overview of the field and of the role of psychology in health. Topics include health-enhancing and health-compromising behaviors; the effects of stress, coping, and personality on health; psychoneuroimmunology; treatments of specific problems and disorders; and interacting with health care services. Thematic Thread(s): Human Diversity & Well-Being, Transfer Thread Completion Course Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
