Catalog description

An overview of clinical practice with children, adolescents and their families with advanced study of the emergence, diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders in children and adolescents. Coursework includes theories of normal and abnormal child development, etiology of disorders, current DSM diagnosis, and an overview of assessment and intervention methods relevant to children and adolescents. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
