Catalog description
Students examine in depth a critical public policy issue that has deep relevance to current domestic or global political discourses. They consider how governments have responded to the issue in the past (if at all) and explore the efficacy of potential policy solutions to address the problem. Each section of this course will have a different topic depending on which policy issues are critical at a particular moment in time. Refer to section descriptions when registering. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
