Catalog description

An introduction to the techniques of experimental physics. Experiments are selected from a wide range of fields in physics that are of a more advanced level than those given at the general or intermediate level. Emphasis includes scientific instrumentation and data collection, scientific computing, lab procedures and safety, data analysis and interpretation, and technical communication. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2, Sophomore 1 or Sophomore 2 may not enroll.
