Catalog description

This course focuses on the fundamental concepts of thermodynamics, the kinetic theory of gases, and the statistical approach to understanding physical systems. Emphasis is placed on developing problem-solving skills, with application to both physics and engineering. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
