This course provides an in-depth study of the principles and application of pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics in clinical settings. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of how drugs interact with the human body, including their therapeutic effects, adverse reactions, and mechanisms of action. This course builds upon the knowledge gained in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics II. It emphasizes the practical application of pharmacological principles in patient care, focusing on the selection, dosing, and monitoring of medications to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes across various specialties, including neurology, psychiatry/behavioral health, cardiology, pulmonology, infectious disease, hematology, and oncology.
