Catalog description

This course introduces students to the foundational examination techniques used in physical therapy practice. Students will learn to perform and interpret goniometry, manual muscle testing, vital signs, and neuromuscular screening procedures. Instruction focuses on accurate technique, clinical decision-making, documentation, and integration of examination findings into the patient/client management model. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students in a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
