Catalog description

This course builds upon foundational knowledge to explore complex systemic regulatory mechanisms and their implications for physical therapy practice. This course examines physiological and pathological processes related to how the body responds to stress. Emphasis is placed on understanding feedback systems, homeostatic mechanisms, nutrition and metabolism, and genetic influences. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students in a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
