Catalog description

This course develops the basis of theoretical foundations, clinical applications, and evidence-informed use of therapeutic modalities in physical therapy (PT) practice. Students will examine the physiological effects, indications, contraindications, and safety considerations of interventions. This course also introduces students to technologies utilized in contemporary PT practice. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making, integration into PT treatment plans, and critical appraisal of emerging research and innovations.
