Catalog description

This course is designed to examine the issues related to teaching developmentally appropriate elementary physical education, and developing elementary physical education curricula in relation to national, state and local standards. Emphasis is placed on current trends and teaching methods in elementary physical education, and on the relationship of reflective teaching and teaching effectiveness at the K-5 grade levels. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
