Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the graduate student with the knowledge of applied training principles as related to training theory for adolescents, ages 13-18 years. Emphasis will be given to areas such as developmentally appropriate strength, power, speed, agility, and flexibility training programs; gender and age differences in training; movement analysis using kinematic and kinetic approaches; muscle-tendon injury prevention; and application of training theory in designing physical education or coaching programs. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
