Fundraising/Grant Writing in Adapted Physical Activity

Catalog description

This course is designed to develop competencies in fund raising strategies utilizing grant writing skills geared toward corporations and charitable foundations. Students will study the specific skills needed to develop a funding concept, preparation of the proposal, and the establishment of relationships with potential donors. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2, Sophomore 1 or Sophomore 2 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students with department of Special Education or Physical and Health Education.
