Catalog description

The course focuses on Health Education curriculum design and developmentally appropriate instructional techniques that can be utilized for health promotion in school settings. Course included universally accepted pedagogical strategies with opportunities to observe and practice these strategies with K-12 health education content. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the BSED1151 program. Enrollment limited to students with the ACCEPTANCE - TEACHER CANDIDACY attribute.
