Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students in current theories, models and successful interventions used in physical activity promotion including: factors/barriers influencing physical activity among children/adolescents and adults. The focus of the course is on the acquisition of evidence-based practices that lead to appropriate assessment strategies, implementation models and evaluative techniques. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
