The Bridge to Practice course serves as a pivotal transition for doctoral students in occupational therapy, seamlessly integrating key curricular threads of Leadership & Interprofessional Collaboration and Transformational Learning & Innovation. This dynamic course prepares students for clinical placements by enhancing essential skills while fostering a deep understanding of ethical considerations and advocacy within the profession. Through a focus on inter- and intra-professional collaboration, students will engage in innovative learning experiences that promote effective teamwork and communication across disciplines. The curriculum emphasizes population-specific care, ensuring that students are equipped to address the diverse needs of various communities.
