The Case Studies in Occupational Therapy course in our Doctorate program provides an immersive, hands-on experience designed to deepen students' understanding of professional reasoning within the context of health, wellness, and the OT process. This course integrates scholarship and professional reasoning as students analyze complex case scenarios that reflect the diverse challenges faced by occupational therapy practitioners. Through the exploration of discharge planning for complex cases, students will develop comprehensive strategies to ensure continuity of care and optimal client outcomes. The curriculum focuses on assessment administration and interpretation, equipping students with the skills needed to evaluate and document complex cases accurately.
