The Level I Fieldwork A: Adults course provides students with an immersive, hands-on experience that bridges classroom learning with real-world practice in adult occupational therapy settings. Integrating the themes of health, wellness, and the OT process with leadership and interprofessional collaboration, this course emphasizes the therapeutic use of self as a foundational skill for effective client engagement. Students will develop and refine their clinical reasoning and observation skills while participating in evaluation, intervention, and outcome measurement processes, gaining insights into best practices for promoting health and well-being among adult clients.
