Catalog description

This course is designed to enhance the student's understanding of Palliative and End-of-Life Nursing as it relates to professional nursing practice. Students will explore various societal influences on death as well as physical and mental aspects of dying while emphasizing the need to care for the "whole person" in palliative and end-of-life caregiving. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Nursing or Program PA School Nurse Certif. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
