Complex Nursing Care

Catalog description

This course focuses on the care of patients with complex and multisystem health issues across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on advanced critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based nursing care. Topics include acute and chronic conditions, high-acuity patient care, and end-of-life care. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Nursing, Nursing or Nursing 1+2+1.
