Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare students to understand the case management responsibilities which include planning, coordinating, and managing care of consumers within a health care system. Students will learn to use evidence-based pathways in making decisions, planning care and finding the best ways to deliver safe, quality and culturally appropriate care and controlling increasing health care costs. Identify innovative technologies to measure case management effectiveness and outcomes. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a major in Nursing.
