Leadership in Nursing and Healthcare Systems

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of concepts and processes of leadership theory and practice in nursing and healthcare systems. Students successfully completing this course will be able to identify the personal and situational factors affecting leadership performance and adapt their behavior to become more effective leaders. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a major in Nursing or Program PA School Nurse Certif.
