Pediatrics Clinical

Catalog description

This clinical course provides nursing students with practical, hands-on experience in caring for pediatric patients across a continuum of healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on the application of theoretical knowledge to clinical decision-making, developmentally appropriate care, family-centered practices, and the NOF Nursing Core Competencies. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Nursing, Nursing or Nursing 1+2+1.
