Catalog description

This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills to conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial nursing health assessments. Emphasis is on utilizing health assessment findings to address disease prevention and early detection across the lifespan. Students use culturally sensitive and evidence-based health promotion strategies to improve the well-being of individuals. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a major in Nursing.
