Nursing in Transition

Catalog description

This course focuses on contemporary issues and trends in nursing. Students explore the role of the professional nurse and develop a broad perspective of the nursing profession and the health care delivery system. Emphasis is placed on exploring nursing history and theories, managing patient care in the everchanging healthcare environment, career development, and scholarly writing. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a major in Nursing.
