Catalog description

This course examines the fundamental principles of pathophysiology, focusing on alterations in normal physiological processes that contribute to disease development. Students will explore the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and nursing considerations for common diseases across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on integrating pathophysiological knowledge with health assessment to enhance clinical reasoning and nursing decision-making. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Nursing, Nursing or Nursing 1+2+1.
