Catalog description

This course represents current research and clinical applications in the advanced level practice of medical music therapy with people of all ages from premature infants to older adults. Students will learn how to apply receptive, recreative, compositional and improvisational music therapy techniques to meet the physical as well as emotional, social, cognitive and/or spiritual needs of a diverse range of clients. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Music Therapy. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
