Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the basic principles, procedures, and tools of assessment used by music therapists and allied health professionals in clinical work. Students will learn to select, administer, and interpret various forms of formal and informal assessment methods, as well as design their own assessment tool. Students will learn how to integrate the findings of different assessments and communicate the results through oral or written reports. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Music Therapy. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
