Catalog description

An intermediate study in music production emphasizing hands-on participation in the preparation and presentation of performances. Students will assume active roles such as production assistant, recording technician, or marketing coordinator, and will contribute directly to rehearsals, technical setup, and audience engagement. Emphasis is on developing technical and organizational skills, working collaboratively across departments, and understanding the production workflow. Students build on prior observation to take responsibility for specific production elements. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
