Catalog description

In this study of language diction for singers, students will continue the study of the International Phonetic Alphabet and apply it to the singing of German and French art songs. The course is open to all voice majors. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Music, Music - Voice, Music Education (PK-12), Music Education (K-12), Music Educ-Voice (K-12), Music Performance, Music Performance-Voice, Music Therapy or Music Therapy-Voice.
