Musicianship Skills IV

Catalog description

In this advanced skills course, students will build on the foundation established in Musicianship III by engaging in more complex and challenging aural and rhythmic exercises. Through sight reading, improvisation, intervals and pattern recognition, mixed and irregular meters, and harmonic progressions, students will refine their musicianship. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to apply these skills using their primary instrument. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
