Catalog description

A study of the fundamental concepts and skills needed to play and teach flute, oboe, and bassoon to homogeneous and heterogeneous instrument groups in pre-K-12 instrumental music education setting. This includes the integration and application of national and state standards for music education. Pre-requisites: Admission to Teacher Candidacy required Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the College of Liberal Arts college. Enrollment limited to students with department of Music.
