Catalog description

This course explores the multifaceted world of music psychology. We will delve into the interplay between music and behavior, examining how sound influences everything from emotional responses to motor skills. We will look at how music is used in society across time and space. By considering the cognitive and perceptual mechanisms underlying music, we gain a deeper understanding of how we learn, process, perceive, and create music. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
