Catalog description

A study of the fundamental concepts and skills needed to play and teach orchestral string instruments in homogeneous and heterogeneous instrument groups in PreK–12 instrumental music education settings. This includes the integration and application of national and state standards for music education. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the College of Liberal Arts college. Enrollment limited to students with department of Music.
