Marching Band Techniques

Catalog description

Planning and preparation of halftime shows using computer-assisted design software with an emphasis on drill design, sound and visual coordination, and ensemble instruction. Students will study marching band pedagogy, develop leadership skills, and apply hand charting techniques to explore effective teaching strategies for contemporary marching arts. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
