Oceanography (In-Service Teachers)

Catalog description

An introductory course to familiarize teachers with the nature of the oceans and create an awareness of the interdisciplinary nature of oceanography. The teachers will have the opportunity to participate in field activities, develop skills in handling marine instruments, and perform investigative laboratory activities, which will enhance their effectiveness in classroom teaching of oceanography through personal experience. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
