Catalog description

A study of coral reef structure, formation, types, and the relationships of reef organisms to their environment. Emphasis is given to species diversity, identification, symbioses, and effects of temperature, salinity, light, nutrient concentration, predation, and competition on the abundance and the distribution of coral reef organisms. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
