Marine Evolutionary

Catalog description

The study of the ecological mechanisms underlying evolutionary processes. This course is broad in scope and requires that students synthesize both evolutionary and ecological concepts and theory into an understanding of how organisms adapt to their environment. Marine, estuarine, and maritime organisms will be used as model systems and processes, which affect marine populations, will be emphasized. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
