Treatment of a wide range of oceanic chemical phenomena, including salinity and age of the oceans, sources and residence times of chemical constituents in seawater, geochemical cycles of mineral resources and trace elements. Sampling and laboratory analysis techniques. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
