Catalog description

This course will give an introduction to computer-based information systems as they are applied to the health care industry. Topics will include characteristics of health care data, design and life cycle of HCIS, the information technology supporting HCIS and management issues. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
