Catalog description

This course provides an introduction and overview of computer networks and data communications. provides an understanding of the underlying concepts of computer networking, email, instant messaging (e.g. texting, multimedia messaging). Introduces several software packages used in business data communications. Emphasis is placed on terminology, techniques and issues in business data communications. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
