Catalog description

This course will explore labor relations, focusing on the interactions between employers, employees, and unions. Students will examine the evolution of unions, collective bargaining, labor laws, and conflict resolution, while addressing contemporary issues including union organizing, the gig economy, globalization, automation, and the changing nature of work. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
