Catalog description

Students will solve linear and absolute value equalities and inequalities, solve systems of linear equations, solve equations and perform calculations with radical, rational, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic expressions, and use complex numbers. Students will also perform basic mathematical modeling in applications. This course is designed for students needing precalculus mathematical experience without trigonometry and for those students who need extra support before taking precalculus.
