Catalog description

Overview of key logistics and supply chain management processes, concepts and methodologies. Emphasis is given to the Lean development of supply chain management, the analysis of logistics cost and service trade-offs among inventory transportation and warehousing activities, the strategic role of information technology in supply chains, the use of third-party logistics providers, and the methods of measuring the value of logistics performance. Instruction may include problem-based learning pedagogy. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
